Debby Smith, RLA, ASLA
Senior Associate
As a result of work on a sustainable design project located in the dense tropical zone found along the Atlantic Cost of Costa Rica, Mrs. Smith has learned first-hand the value of environmentally based design. With this knowledge, Debby has continued to focus on projects with site, environmental issues, and regulatory constraints.
In the role of project manager, Debby has led complex efforts, including assignments such as Actons Landing, a five-acre "Smart Growth" project replacing the old regional hospital in the heart of historic Annapolis. She has a command of the development process within the "Critical Areas" zone of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Her fluency in technical areas such as CAD has resulted in her lead in building the office network and in being the point person for the introduction of all new technology into the office.
