Description: This corporate office building, situated in the edge city of Tyson’s Corner, provided the opportunity for the design of a pedestrian space in a generally vehicular environment. Considering people as the primary users, the designers inserted critical masses of a green environment to allow people to venture outside for their lunch hour.

A regular geometric pattern of free standing and seating walls leads pedestrians to the main entrance of the office tower. Intricate paving patterns, including color insets and integral site accent lighting, provide a high level of resolution to this site.
